Carolyn is responsible for developing the Center for Understanding Change business plan as well as
assisting with project management by analyzing customer requirements, identifying operational challenges and
developing organizational objectives. Retired from The Boeing Company, Carolyn was responsible for developing plans,
procedures and processes used within Boeing’s Program Managements organization. Additionally, Carolyn conducted
internal organizational effectiveness assessments and served as an external assessor for the California Awards
for Performance Excellence (CAPE).
Carolyn is a published author of peer reviewed papers relating to Business Continuity. Ms. Castillo holds a Master
of Management from the University of Redlands, a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology and a Bachelor of Arts,
Psychology from California State University Long Beach. Other training includes Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean+ Executive
Training and Standard Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and Appraisal Method (SCAMPI).
